Rremoval: scheduled to begin August 6th.
Bob Woods plans to complete calculations of loading on MB by Friday, August 3rd. A steel support structure will have to be installed in MB in the area where the 2 analysis magnets sit above in MC7. Bob will get a package to FESS for their review.
Ansley cables must be rolled up in MB prior to steel installation. Ed Hartouni will organize their removal by August 17th.
With the need to add a 12" thick concrete pad under the magnets, the beam line height will be 80.5" above the floor. Therefore, the roof will have to be raise about 4 feet from the JGG to after the RICH, a distance of about 100 feet. Gary Smith will complete a drawing to show the roof change. Approval will have to be given by Ken Stanfield.
TPC work is going on at MT. Chilled water has been circulated leak free through the TPC. Work on the DAQ (Ron, Dave, Mike) has also been started.
Jim Kilmer will start looking at modifying the E690 chamber support stand to accommodate moving the TPC in/out of the JGG gap.
