Upstream Beamline

BEAM - Beamline

Chuck Brown:

Minimum progress on pile opening, riggers moved to a higher priority job.

UBL - Upstream Beamline Detectors

Beam CKOV:

Jim will use beam pipe recently removed from MW6 for beam pipe in MC7. The pipe is slightly radioactive, low class 1 - 0.1mr/hr

Targets

TGTW - Target Wheel

CTGT - Cryogenic Targets

NTGT - NuMI (MINOS) Target

TPC - Time Projection Chamber

Ingrid is gathering design parameter on the support cart.

Magnets

John [Cooper] has reviewed the installation procedure. I expect to have all signatures on Monday. So steel setting will commence on Tuesday, the 21st.

JGG - Jolly Green Giant

Drawings for the inner & outer stands are complete, beginning the drawing for support stand, then need an assembly drawing.

DC - Drift Chambers

Awaiting discriminator adapter boards so an entire chamber can be readout at once.

Ed LaVallie is commencing design on support stands for the Iowa chambers, chambers #5 & #6

TOF - Time of Flight

RICH - Ring Imaging Cerenkov

Anticipating deliver of rails and stand in June.
