Clean all on-board fiber connectors (2 x 128). Also open, clean , and remate the connections in the middle of the orange bundle. These are in the cable tray above the gate next to the DC racks. Finally, retest the fibers that Jennifer identified as "bad". (Use a good fiber as the return and subtract its loss.)

It may be better to replace ALL the fibers with new jacketed multi-fiber cables, from Black Box, for example (~$5K for 4 x 36 fiber x 125' cables).

Along the sides of the chassis' there are lots of screws with the heads on the outside of the chassis. Therefore the sides cannot fit flush. According to John, it is a major overhaul to eliminate the screw heads. Also, there is a problem getting the slide location to fit properly. There is a tight tolerance getting the chassis slides to align properly while keeping the front panels heights spacing correct. John can tells you about it when you return. Can we do without installing the slides?

In all areas, keep the cables stacked in order. They are not labeled yet . . .

Add third circuit to center double electronics (blue) rack. This is the most populated pair. When I turned on all the crates, one breaker (#12?) tripped after a few minutes.

Do you plan to replace these with FNAL racks? Would be nice, if racks are easy to come by, but not so nice since you've got the AC power installed.
