The summer intern program
is aimed at outstanding undergraduate physics majors who desire an
opportunity to experience a working scientific environment in a laboratory
with the world's highest energy accelerator. This program is open to students
in the US and abroad.

There are two ways to apply for an IPM internship: either through the
Fermilab application or the SULI application. The SULI application is
for United States Citizen or Permanent Resident Alien and is
administered through the Department of Energy.
The Fermilab application is open to all foreign and domestic undergraduates.
You can be accepted into the IPM program through either application.
Please follow the directions carefully. Any questions about the SULI
application should be directed to

Any questions about the Fermilab application, or the IPM program in general, should be directed to
