Alignment and Metrology Department

Provide the expertise and support for the precise measurement and alignment of the physical elements in, and related to, Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory and it's high-energy physics research mission. This includes the assessment and global relationship of experiments conducted on and off the Fermilab site. Our goal, using the appropriate types of survey and alignment instrumentation, is to provide in-house measurement, referencing, quality control, and civil engineering support, along with design assistance on new project development.
